Key Stage 2 SATs tests taken by Year yr6 children
The format of external KS2 SATs has changed dramatically from last year. The 2016 tests have changed considerably – different subjects, tested in very different ways, so year-on-year direct comparison is not relevant. School ranking and comparison to National is the only way to check progress for this cohort. Both these measures show very good progress in 2016.
