Mr Peter Woods

am Head of Infants at Black Firs. I began my teaching journey back in 2002 and have stayed here ever since (I love it that much)! Throughout my time at Black Firs, I have taught in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and currently teach between Year 1 and 2.  I studied at MMU at the Crewe campus, achieving a Degree in Primary Education.
Alongside being Head of Infants, I am also currently the Geography co-ordinator at Black Firs, lead the school council and am the lead teacher for our anti-bullying programme – KIVA.
I enjoy most sports and love getting involved in as many as I can. I love football, tennis and athletics, but most of all, I enjoy sharing my passion for sport with children through a range of clubs in school.

To me, Black Firs feels like being part of a giant family. It is a huge privilege to be part of this and I can honestly say that I enjoy coming into school each and every day.
